We’re focused on bringing a higher aesthetic to every type of business communication from the fonts we choose to the color palettes we use. Our award-winning group of creative directors, art directors, designers, and digital artists work together to connect your brand to your audiences through design that doesn’t just get noticed—it gets remembered. From corporate identity, proposals and presentations, to advertising, collateral, annual and CSR reports and event design, we infuse every project with intelligent, captivating design that raises the bar and a few eyebrows.

Featuring the Burger King Annual Report

In Burger King’s second full year as a publicly traded company, its revenues grew by10 percent, its profits grew by 24 percent, and its portfolio grew to 11,565 restaurants, the most in the brand’s history. To build on this landmark year, Burger King wanted to communicate that these accomplishments were just the beginning—the best was yet to come. To bring this message to life, the company selected “The Adventure Continues” as the theme of its fiscal year 2008 annual report.

The annual report conveys the scope, scale and depth of the company by visually representing the King on a series of adventures. This approach helps explain Burger King’s global growth, the redesign of its restaurants, new product pipeline, latest technology, marketing savvy, and philanthropic efforts.

The design captures the energy of the theme through dramatic illustrations that evoked several of the Hollywood films that Burger King partnered with throughout the year, such as Indiana Jones and The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. By using illustration, we could depict the King in situations that would have been impossible with photographs. For added visual impact, Burger King opened the annual report with a 3-D pop-up ship, with the King as the captain and his followers in tow.

Breaking down barriers.   Building relationships.   Shifting perception.   Triggering action.

At Edelman Design, we know what matters to you. After all, we’re a brand, too. So we think strategically (not just aesthetically) to ensure that our work is compelling enough, innovative enough, and relevant enough to help your business grow.

Our clients have included some of the biggest, most-demanding names on the scene, including Bunge, CNH, General Electric, Kraft, Merck, Starbucks, True Value and Wrigley. They’ve partnered with us because, simply put, they know we get it – since our founding in 1992 our work has proved that we understand the role of design and communications in the overall brand, or reputation, of a company, product, and service.

Working with a small design firm has its benefits. And large design firms have their advantages. With Edelman Design Communications you get the best of both worlds: a small, dedicated design group backed by the resources – and global perspective – of the world’s premier public relations and communications firm.
