Get Real Greening, concerns about food additives and desires for simpler times are moving people back to basics. Consumers are seeking fresh and less-processed foods with “clean labels.” Calories Count With obesity as the #1 public health issues, caloric content of foods will continue to be scrutinized. In their report to the government, the 2010 Dietary Guidelines Advisory committee recently suggested that all Americans should know their calorie number, which will increase guidance and interest in this area.
